Details about Internship/Apprenticeship

Beet fieldsIntern will learn the ins and outs of farm life. You must be willing to work long days in all weather, deal with a variety of animals in all circumstances, smile, laugh, and enjoy what we're doing. We tend to work 6 days in the field, taking one day off each week, but animals need attention every day…watering, love, moving fencing. Something new to the farm for 2008 is a milk room and cheese processing facility. Interns will have the opportunity of milking goats and learning the art of soft cheese making.
